The second test HAS to be done with a stone cold engine. if it drops to zero or even 10 psi and you absolutely don't see any other leaks then you might have a headgasket issue. Once those are fixed pump it up to 20psi and let it sit like that for at least 2 hours and see if the pressure has dropped at all. With the engine stone cold pump up the tester to about 15 or 20 psi and look for visible leaks. Pressure tests should ideally consist of three separate tests. That adapter gets screwed into the expansion tank after you take the cover off.
